Regional memorial house – Hutovo


In the one-story house, there is a collection with about 350 ethnological exhibits, monuments of the everyday life of the local population. In front of the Native House and the church is the Lapidarium where you can see about thirty stone monuments from the wider area of Hutovo: fossil remains of plants and animals over 150 thousand years old, a Roman map from the 3rd century, a Roman stele (a stone tablet with decorations and inscriptions of funeral or memorial character). The folk memorial house is by the parish church of Christ the King in Hutovo. This dethached house is covered with a stone tile and contains all the furniture and objects wich were found in Herzegovinian houses like this in past centuries.
