Prozor – Rama
At the source of nature
Prozor and Rama are the northernmost points of Herzegovina. The gorgeous Ramsko Lake dominates the entire area. In the middle of the lake lies Šćit Island with a Franciscan monastery.
This mountainous region is full of lush greenery and pure fresh water. All travellers are sure to find true peace in the stunning colours and tranquil1ity of this area.
The local villagers are very kind and hospitable people. East of Ramsko Lake lies Prozor, a small mountain town very similar to Rama. Just down the road from Prozor is the vil1age of Duga, endowed with immense water supply and mighty waterfall called Duge falls. The village got its name from rainbow as fhis natural phenomenon never fails to appear above the 30-meter high waterfall.
